Anne Marie Dine, LPC, CPCS, NCC, MAC

I have been practicing as a Professional Counselor since 2008 (LPC 006503), following my Master’s Program at Georgia State University. In that time, it has been my great joy to work with women, men and adolescents working to find hope and relief amidst a variety of struggles, including:

eating disorders and disordered eating
substance use disorders and related struggles
mood-based symptoms, including depression and anxiety
trauma and trauma-based responses
relationship issues

In working with you, I’ll draw from several approaches, including my intensive training in DBT, CBT, psychodynamic therapy. I have also completed level 1 training in EMDR, which may be appropriate to help you through painful memories and symptoms related to trauma.

I have worked in residential, outpatient, and community-based settings, as well as in a hospital, prior to starting my private practice. Although I feel like I’ve always known that I was going to be a therapist someday, I also had a prior career as a trainer and consultant, working with organizations to develop clearer and stronger leadership, coaching, and communication strategies (among other things!). In my work as a professional counselor, I have served as a therapist, Clinical Director, and site operations Director. My heart has always in the therapuetic work with the client, and I’m delighted to make that a primary focus of my time.

My passion for development also extends to developing counselors and therapists through supervision. I have received extensive training in clinical supervision, and am honored to have been distinguished as a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (#429) since 2014.

More personally, I am married with 2 young children, and am involved in a number of community and professional organizations, including my church, iaedp-Atlanta (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals - Atlanta Chapter) as the education co-chair, the American Counseling Association, and the LPCAGA (the Licensed Professional Counselor Association of Georgia).
